Tempted $1.70

Tempted looks the best bet on a tricky and competitive program.

The Street Boss mare possesses a sizzling turn of foot, and she was nothing short of breathtaking first-up in the Concorde Stakes.

She meets a similar field on Saturday, and if she sees clear air as they run for the doctor, she will prove too strong late.

The odd-on quote looks justified and overs, and only bad luck in-running will stop her from booking a date with an Everest.

King’s Secret has been super this preparation.

The Shalaa gelding has been running extremely well at the top level, and I suspect he is ready to explode third-up from a spell.

His versatility alone puts him into the mix, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals.

Punching above his weight, however; he is a must for all broader multiples and exotics.

Autumn Boy $3.60

Autumn Boy looks ready to win after producing two handy performances to kick off his spring campaign.

He was luckless at a crucial stage first-up in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes, while his effort behind Sheza Alibi in the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes at his latest outing, put the writing on the wall for a third-up victory.

He has won the Caulfield and Rosehill Guineas at his other third-up starts, and the perfect inside draw should allow him to occupy the box-seat throughout.

He may need some luck getting off the dulex as they run for the doctor, however; in Jmac we trust!

Hard to toss with even luck in transit.

Ceolwulf looks a major player despite being asked to carry the grand-stand.

The Tavistock gelding won this event in 2024, and his record at the track and trip must be respected.

All those who run this campaign have been teasing, and I suspect Joseph Pride will apply the blinkers on for his main target of the spring.

His double-figure opening quote has been more than nibbled at, and his pilot Chad Schofield have a great winning record together.

Nepo Baby $15.00/$4.60

Nepo Baby is over the odds.

The Lucky Vega mare covered more ground than the early settlers fresh, and I suspect it may pay dividends to forgive and forget her performance.

She is a winner second-up, and the perfect inside draw puts her into all winning conversations.

The camp are flying at present, and her double-figure quote has been smashed since acceptances.

Theblade was a brilliant last-start winner at Rosehill.

The Toronado gelding put away a handy field, and this event looks no harder on Saturday.

He comes in well at the weights, and he has been well supported in most all-in markets.

His record at the trip is the primary concern.

QUADDIE

Q

$60 for 100%

We have a handful of selections flying the flag in a very open and even edition of the Metropolitan.

Autumn Boy looks hard to toss in the Epsom Handicap, however; several quality gallopers gain a gurnsey due to quaddie insurance purposes.

The flying Temped can get the job done in the Premiere Stakes, while Theblade and Nepo Baby will battle it the final event on the card.

Best of luck!
