Ka Ying Rising $1.50
Ka Ying Rising returns to Australia to defend his Everest crown, and more importantly, to keep his title as the world’s best sprinter intact.
The Shamexpress gelding is motoring faster than ever, and the fact that he has broken a track record at each of his previous five outings should send a shiver down his rivals’ spines.
With a clean break from the gates, barrier eleven is advantageous for the flashy six-year-old.
His world-class pilot Zac Purton can drift the big boy across to find the bunny or sit outside the leader.
The current weather forecast has some long-range punters nervous, however, forecasts are like ex-girlfriends, they seemed like a great and optimistic decision at the time.
The $1.50 could well and truly be over the odds, or will the heavens determine one of the greatest upsets in Australian racing history.
Hard to toss.

Autumn Glow $1.40
Autumn Glow showed fight and resilience at her latest victory.
The Autumn Sun mare hit the front a minute from home, and she looked vulnerable for a stride or two as they ran for the doctor.
The mile suits at this stage of her preparation, and I suspect this is the grand final for her spring campaign.
The soft to heavy range is the biggest concern amongst punters, however; she is too classy to pot.
Short enough in the market, and I expect her quote to continue to short until the barriers open.
Ceolwulf is knocking on the door.
All of this campaign’s runs have been good without winning, and I expect him to peak on Saturday.
The blinkers go on, and he gets the perfect map into the race with the tear-away bunny lover Pride Of Jenni in the event.
He finds his pet distance, and he loves Randwick more than T.J. Smith.
Major player!

Skybird $9.00/$3.00
Skybird is over the odds.
The Exosphere mare was a brilliant last-start winner at Flemington, and I suspect she is nearing back to her Group 1 winning form.
The rain-affected conditions suited her to a tee, and her pilot, Ben Melham, knows her better than he knows himself.
The enigmatic six-year-old could have easily lined up in an Everest; however, she tackles the consolation event instead.
The carpark draw is the biggest deterrent.
Grafterburners caught the eyes of punters at his latest outing.
The Graff entire savaged the line from another suburb, and the form around him is elite.
I suspect he is ready to explode third-up from a spell, the perfect inside draw will allow him a soft run in transit.
The sting out of the ground is a bonus, and the inform Nash Rawiller takes the reins.
Acid test!

$160 for 100%
Ka Ying Rising has one hoof on the till in the $20,000,000 Everest, while Tempted gains a gurnsey in case the unthinkable occurs in the richest race on turf.
We have a handful of selections flying the flag in an even edition of the Silver Eagle, and I expect the brilliant Autumn Glow to prove too strong in a cracking edition of the King Charles III Stakes.
Happy to go wider than Fat Albert in the final event on the program.
Best of luck!
