Zougotcha $4.40

Zougotcha was great without winning fresh in the Winx Stakes.

The Zoustar mare was only out-bobbed late by a smart one, and she looks perfectly drawn to go one better on Saturday.

Her record at the trip and distance must be respected, and she strips fitter after her first-up performance.

She has trialled exceptionally well between runs, and with luck, she will get the run of the race.

Hard to toss!

Fangirl can bounce back after having her colours lowered first-up.

The Sebring mare covered more ground than the early settlers fresh, and she was entitled to peak on her run late.

The step out to mile is advantageous, and she finds her favourite track conditions.

Watch for her savaging the line late!

Manaal $4.60

Manaal swooped in the shadows to claim the Furious Stakes.

The Tassort filly went against the track pattern on the day, and she motored home from another suburb.

The step out to 1400m is ideal at this stage of her preparation, and she strips fitter after her last start victory.

From barrier six, the talented three-year-old can position more forward in the run, and if she can produce her customary turn of foot at the pointy end of the race, I expect her to prove too strong.

Autumn Glow has started her racing career on the right foot.

The Autumn Sun filly is undefeated, and she looks very progressive.

She deserves her shot at this level on Saturday and could be special.

The awkward barrier and sharp class rise are among the primary concerns.

Odds-on look on!

Kibou $10.00/$3.00

Kibou is over the odds.

The Maurice gelding should be rock-hard fit after a lengthy campaign, and the form around him reads incredibly well for this event.

The enigmatic five-year-old is a 1200m specialist who looks well-placed in this company.

From barrier six, he will ping the lids and find the bunny, and if he can control the tempo throughout, he will prove hard to run down.

An early-speed battle is the primary concern.

Whinchat is the class runner of the field.

The Russian Revolution gelding performed well in some serious races last campaign, and he resumes after producing a string of mouthwatering barrier trials.

He will appreciate the significant drop in class and looks ideally drawn in barrier four.

He needs to beat the handicapper!

Manaal and Autumn Glow will battle out in the Tea Rose Stakes.

Both are last-start winners, and I expect a fierce battle during the final furlong.

Fangirl and Zougotcha fly the flag for our quaddie hopes and dreams in the 7+ Sport Stakes, while we have a handful of selections in The Shorts.

It’s a field job in the lucky last!
