His record at the distance must be respected, and his best form reads incredibly well for this event.
From the wide gate, he will drift back and find his hooves, and if he can stay in touch with the peloton during the middle stages of the race, I expect him to blow away his rivals late.

Semillion was brave at Caulfield behind a handy galloper at his latest outing.
The track conditions in Sydney town will suit the Shalaa gelding, and I suspect he is rock-hard fit after a lengthy and consistent campaign.

The Belardo gelding is building a nice picket fence next to his name, and he looks dangerous after a little freshen-up.
A recent barrier trial turned the heads of punters, and I suspect he will be fully screwed down for a tilt at the hattrick.
The 1800m won’t pose any issues, and the flood of early money indicates another bold performance.

The step out in distance could prove a winning move, and the camp are training winners are fun at present.
