Best Bet - Randwick Race 6

Passeggiata $1.65

Passeggiata resumes after an impressive debut campaign.

The Winning Rupert filly has an amazing turn of foot, and her recent barrier trials leading into this event have been blistering!

From barrier ten, Dylan Gibbons will send her forward in search of the lead, and if she is uncontested during the early stages, this race could be over on straightening.

The 53kg is luxurious, and there has been a flood of money for her in early betting.

Boss Lady Rocks looks over the odds.

The Street Boss mare is building a sensational career record, and the 3kg apprentice claim puts her into all winning conversations.

If she can stay out of the speed battle early, she may prove hard to hold out late.

Yoshino $8.00

Yoshino was a brilliant first-up winner over 1200m.

The Lonhro gelding races well second-up, and the step out in distance looks ideal.

The James Cummings trained galloper is very honest, and with even luck in transit, he can continue his love affair with Randwick on Saturday.

He looks better than Benchmark 78 level, and I expect him to climb through his grades successfully during the winter months.

Crafty Eagle will have supporters after an effortless first-up victory.

From barrier two, the Starcraft gelding can roll forward and take luck out of the equation, and if he can pinch some cheap sectionals in transit, he may be home and hosed before the final furlong.

The class rise is his biggest challenge.

Best Roughie - Randwick Race 8

Tycoonist $20.00/$5.00

Tycoonist is over the odds!

The classy Written Tycoon gelding meets easier opposition, and his best form would win this event in a canter.

He has performed well first-up previously and should be cherry ripe after two recent barrier trials.

His record at the distance speaks volumes, and his track record should give punters some confidence.

The allocated weight is the primary concern.

Wewillrock will have fans after a consistent campaign to date.

Barrier two is ideal for the El Roca gelding; the drop back to 1100m could prove a masterstroke.

The 53kg gives him an upper hand on most of his rivals, and I suspect he still has plenty of natural improvement to come.

It may pay dividends to watch for any significant market support.

QUADDIE

Q

$72 for 50%

Happy to go wide in the first leg of the quaddie!

It looks like the program’s most competitive race, which has been reflected in the early betting.

Tycoonist, Conscript, Spacewalk, and Wewillrock, look to have the second leg between them, while Zoushack, Manhood, and Pizarro can fight out the penultimate event.

Yoshino can finish the day for punters on a winning note!

Best of luck!
