Swan Hill June 9th, Tips and Previews

Best Bet - Swan Hill Race 7

Home Rule $4.80

Home Rule will be hard to hold out in the feature event of the day.

The Rebel Raider gelding was too good two starts back at Warrnambool before feeling the pinch late at Sandown at his latest outing.

The heavy track conditions play in his favour, and he will roll forward and dictate the tempo from the perfect inside draw.

His record at the distance is exceptional, and I expect his quote to shorten significantly if the track deteriorates throughout the meeting.

He will give a bold sight!

Diamonds looks over the odds.

The Rich Enuff mare is ready to peak, and both runs of this preparation have been teasing.

She meets easier opposition, and her best form reads incredibly well for this event.

Beating the handicapper and the allocated weight is her biggest challenge.

3

Galathilion $3.80

Galathilion is knocking on the door!

The Telperion gelding has been racing well without winning, and the drop back to 1200m looks like a winning move.

From barrier five, the rising four-year-old can take up a prominent position, and if he is left to his own devices on top of the speed, he may prove hard to run down.

His winning record is the most significant deterrent!

Runpukya looks dangerous, jumping from the perfect inside draw.

The Trust In A Gust gelding looked great in a recent jumpout, and I expect him to be cherry ripe for a first-up tilt.

The wet track is the unknown.

2

Grey Ghost $9.00/$2.70

Grey Ghost is knocking on the door!

The Danerich gelding is racing consistently, and his debut win is just around the corner.

From barrier three, he can camp on the leaders back, and if he sees daylight on straightening, he is the one to beat.

The 58kg looks generous from the handicapper, and the wet track plays in his favour.

He looks excellent each-way value!

Rose Ring will start favourite after an eye-catching first-up run.

The Russian Revolution filly will jump and lead from barrier four, and if she catches her rivals napping mid-race, she will be home and hosed before the final furlong.

She has been well supported in early betting, and it may pay dividends to watch for any further significant moves.

The 1200m might be her undoing.

QUADDIE

Q

$33 for 100%

Second Divison can get our quaddie off to a flyer!

The Roc De Cambes gelding is making every post a winner, and with even luck in transit, I expect him to notch up another victory on Friday.

Feuermond, Burgunder, and Irish Rockstar will be prominent in the second leg, while our best bet, Home Rule, can get the job done in the feature event.

The lucky last is more open than a tin of tuna!

Leg 1: 2

Leg 2: 4, 6, 8

Leg 3: 8

Leg 4: Field
