Best Bet - Race 7
4
Street Tough $2.5
Our best bet comes up in the Mildura Cup with Street Tough standing out like a sore thumb.
He tumbles down in the weights from his two resuming runs into this preparation and now only has to carry the minimum weight of 54kgs in this race.
One of the most in-form jockeys of Victoria takes the ride with Dean Holland hopping on the saddle to pilot this six-year-old gelding around the quirky Mildura track.
Trainer Will Clarken has set this horse up a perfectly.

Hot Suspect $4.4
Hot Suspect ran very well on debut over 1715 metres at Geelong after having to race in inferior ground for the majority of the way.
He drew the short straw on a track where you had to be up the middle or out wide away from the rails but he stuck on well down on the inside to plug away for fourth.
The 2000 metres here is a big tick and from barrier six he will not be shuffled back along the rail unlike he was at Geelong.
Paul Preusker has a knack of finding of a good stayer and this four-year-gelding looks no exception.
Best Roughie - Race 6
2
King's Full $11/$3.50
King’s Full was ridden with aggression at Caulfield over 2000 metres last start.
He and Falls cut each other up out in the lead in BM-78 grade and it is still a wonder as to how he stuck on to finish where he did in fourth spot only beaten just over two lengths.
That run will do one of two things; either bring him on perfectly for this race or completely flatten him.
Given the price we are getting for him, happy to take the risk given the lead looks like it is all his for the taking rather than being challenged like he was at Caulfield.
