King Pedro $7.00
King Pedro was good first-up behind Attrition at Rosehill.
His second-up record must be respected, and he looks more suited under handicap conditions.
The inside draw is advantageous, and his pilot is riding winners for fun at present.
The 2500m suits, and the Eminent gelding has a significant turn of foot at the end of a trip.
The first Tuesday in November awaits.
Valiant King is ready to explode after producing three ‘pass marks’ for the current campaign.
The longer trip is advantageous, and the king loves Flemington more than Makybe Diva.
A drier ground would play into his hooves, and he is drawn to get all the favours in the run.
Over the odds.

Sun God $26.00/$6.00
Sun God is over the odds.
The Fastnet Rock gelding is racing better than it suggests in the bible, and he is ready to explode third-up from a spell.
He was a winner at this stage of his campaign previously, and the form around him has stood up time and again.
His record at the trip must be respected, and I suspect he will grow another leg at headquarters.
A must for broader multiples and exotics.
Buckaroo is too classy to over look.
The veteran eight-year-old gelding has been racing well without threatening, and the 1600m looks more suitable at this stage of his preparation and career.
The James McDonald and Chris Waller combination must be respected, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at.
His recent winning record is the primary concern.
QUADDIE
Q
$105 for 50%
We have gone extremely wide in the opening leg of the quaddie.
Nothing would shock here, and the result may determine our hopes and dreams early doors.
The Moonee Valley Gold Cup looks a competitive affair, while Sir Delius has one hoof on the till in the time-honoured W.S. Cox Plate.
We have a handful of gallopers flying the flag in the final event on the program.
Best of luck!
