His second-up record is near perfect, and the 1500m is in his wheelhouse.
The rising six-year-old will appreciate the significant drop in grade, and I suspect James McDonald’s key appointment will attract further market support.

The Shalaa mare is racing in great spirit, and the form around her is standing up repeatedly.
I suspect she has the fitness edge on most of her rivals after a lengthy and fruitful campaign, and a recent barrier trial will make her cherry ripe for Saturday’s event.
She finds her pet distance and looks well placed in this company.
The carpark draw is the primary concern.
Pisanello is talented.
The Ribchester gelding put three wins together at the end of his spring campaign, and he resumes with an air of expectation.
His victory on Champions Day at Flemington is still fresh in the memory bank, and his latest jump-out looked ominous.
His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune!
