Lady Shenandoah $2.50
Lady Shenandoah Is airbourne.
The Snitzel filly is building a picket fence next to her name, and her victories this preparation have been sublime.
The step out in trip is advantageous, and I suspect she is ready to peak and explode on Saturday.
Her versatility will allow her to overcome any difficulties faced in the run from the horror barrier draw, and the current track conditions play into her favour.
Group 1 glory awaits!
Amelia’s Jewel was an arrogant winner first-up.
Her form during the spring was brilliant without winning, and she looks well-placed in this company.
She Is a second-up specialist, and she ideally drawn in a middle gate.
Tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of the contest.

Pericles $6.00
Pericles is coming off a forgive run in a hot form race.
The Street Boss gelding suffered an internal bleed, and he failed to quicken as a result.
His second-up record is near perfect, and the 1500m is in his wheelhouse.
The rising six-year-old will appreciate the significant drop in grade, and I suspect James McDonald’s key appointment will attract further market support.
Hard to toss!

Eagle Nest $11.00/$3.30
Eagle Nest is over the odds.
The Shalaa mare is racing in great spirit, and the form around her is standing up repeatedly.
I suspect she has the fitness edge on most of her rivals after a lengthy and fruitful campaign, and a recent barrier trial will make her cherry ripe for Saturday’s event.
She finds her pet distance and looks well placed in this company.
The carpark draw is the primary concern.
Pisanello is talented.
The Ribchester gelding put three wins together at the end of his spring campaign, and he resumes with an air of expectation.
His victory on Champions Day at Flemington is still fresh in the memory bank, and his latest jump-out looked ominous.
His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune!
QUADDIE
Q
$90 for 20%
A handful of selections fly the flag in the opening leg of the quaddie.
Pisanello looks hard to toss, however; several of his rivals make the cut for insurance purposes.
Amelia’s Jewel and Lady Shenandoah will battle it out in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic, while Pericles, Iowna Merc and Ducasse, will all be prominent in the penultimate event on the program.
The last leg is harder to pick than a broken nose!
