Rosehill February 3rd, Tips and Previews

Best Bet - Rosehill Race 3

1

Traffic Warden $3.50

Traffic Warden looks the good thing of the day!

The Street Boss colt was an impressive last-start winner at Caulfield, and he was game in defeat on debut behind the Golden Slipper favourite Storm Boy.

The big fella has been freshened up since his latest outing, and a recent barrier trial will have him ready to claim black-type on Saturday.

Hard to toss!

Fearless will have supporters after producing two stunning jumpouts in January.

The Pierata colt will appreciate the 1100m fresh, and I suspect he will get the run of the race from a middle gate.

It may pay dividends to watch for any significant late market support.

Lady Laguna $2.25

Lady Laguna is winning for fun at present.

The Overshare mare has been perfectly placed here by the Annabel Neasham camp, and her best performance will simply be too good for her rivals.

The drop back to 1200m is advantageous, and I suspect she scarily still has improvement to come for the campaign.

You can’t beat a mare in form!

Malkovich needs to recapture his mojo.

The Choisir gelding can produce sizzling on-pace sectionals, and if he is left to his own devices, he will look the winner a long way from home.

The 1200m and his recent form are the main deterrents.

Best Roughie - Rosehill Race 5

Froebel Star $11.00/$3.30

Froebel Star has a future.

The Zousain filly was good on debut behind a smart one, and I suspect she will excel second-up over the 1100m.

She strips fitter after her recent outing, and I expect her to get the perfect cart into the race from barrier two.

If she can time her run to perfection, she can pinch the chocolates at a decent price.

Lady Of Camelot will start favourite after turning heads at a recent barrier trial.

The Written Tycoon filly has the perfect inside draw, and I suspect being trained by Gai Waterhouse, she will be able to sustain top speed at both ends of the race.

She looks skinny enough in the market, and I would prefer to invest once she has shaken the maiden tag.

QUADDIE

Q

$48 for 100%

I am happy to be with Estadio Mestalla, one out in the opening leg.

The Galileo Gold gelding is ready to peak third-up from a spell and looks dangerous on the quick back-up.

Buillt, Powerful Peg, Gracilistyla, and Infatuation will battle it out in the Vale Bill Camer, while Our Kobison has the penultimate event at his mercy.

It’s a field job in the lucky last.
