Riff Rocket $2.00

Riff Rocket can bounce back after producing a disappointing effort last start at Caulfield.

The American Pharoah gelding will appreciate the step out to 2500m, and with even luck in transit, his love affair with Flemington can continue.

His run two starts back at headquarters was a six-length romp, and I suspect he is ready to explode on Saturday.

The big boy oozes talent, and if he produces his best here, I am unsure they can beat him.

Form is temporary; class is permanent.

Verdad was ridden upside down last weekend at Moonee Valley.

He was always going to be vulnerable late, and he was grabbed halfway down the home straight.

He can sit behind the speed from barrier four, and if he presented with his run at the right time, I expect him to figure in the finish.

I am unsure he will run out a strong 2500m.

I Am Unstoppable $11.00

I Am Unstoppable is ready to win!

The talented I Am Invincible colt has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory several times this campaign, and I suspect he is ready to peak over the 1200m.

The wide draw is advantageous, and he has arguably been beaten several times this preparation from racing on the inferior part of the track.

If Blake Shinn presses the go button at the right time, he can greet the judge first and taste Group 1 success.

 A very valuable colt!

Steparty looks suited, dropping back to 1200m.

The Caulfield Guineas distance caught him out late, and I suspect he is ready to fly after a little freshen-up.

His form prior was perfect, and he deserves his shot at racing’s top level.

I am unsure if he can produce another peak performance for the campaign.

Shuffle Dancer $23.00/$6.50

Shuffle Dancer was terrific third-up from a spell at Caulfield.

The I Am Invincible mare flew from the clouds late, and she has been screaming out for the mile since the start of her spring campaign.

The Moody and Nolen combination will attract plenty of late market support, and there has been a flood of money for her at a price in early betting.

If she can sit closer to the speed from the perfect inside draw, she can make her presence felt when the whips are cracking.

She may need some luck on straightening.

Atishu is a quality mare.

The Savabeel mare claimed a Group 1 in the autumn, and her best form reads incredibly well for this event.

Her spring performances have been pleasing to date, and I suspect this race has been on the radar for a long time.

If she can find a position in the running line during the race’s early stages, she can chime in late.
