She's Fit $4.20

She’s Fit is a superstar!

She savaged the line to finish a narrow second in the Australian Oaks, and her form prior in Western Australia is first-class.

The Pride Of Dubai filly will appreciate the 1.5kg drop in allocated weight, and she looks poised to upstage and upset the boys in the time-honoured Derby.

Barrier eleven is the slight query.

Promises Kept is putting the picket fence next to his name.

The Cluster gelding was impressive at Bendigo over 2200m, and he was ready to step out over a long journey.

The rise in class is his biggest obstacle.

Suizuro can threaten despite jumping from the carpark.

He is knocking on the door, and he can give a good sight if he finds the front during the race’s early stages.

Pearl Adios $8.00

Pearl Adios produced an eye-catching run in the Port Adelaide Guineas.

The Rebel Raider gelding didn’t win. However, he was incredibly strong through the line.

He is suited to dropping back to the mile, and he should get all the favours from the perfect inside draw.

If Opie Bosson can angle out the progressive three-year-old on straightening, I expect him to figure in the finish.

Party Princess will be prominent in the market after producing an ultra-consistent campaign.

The So You Think Filly was only beaten a pimple two starts back by the talented As Time Goes By, and if she reproduces that form here, she could blow her rivals away.

The awkward barrier is her biggest obstacle.

Merchant Boss can run well at cricket-score odds.

The 100-1 pop has had a luckless campaign, and I am confident that the Merchant Navy gelding is better than his current form is showing the punters.

Dominus $13.00/$4.00

Dominus is over the odds!

The Iffraaj gelding ran extremely well last start at Balaklava carrying the grandstand, and his form prior was solid in a higher grade.

He meets easier opposition here and is ready to step out to 1800m.

The drop in weight to 60kg is advantageous, and I suspect this has been a long-range targeted event.

His winning record is the primary concern.

Captain Britain will start favourite after consistent preparation.

The Camelot gelding has been well supported since markets opened, and he looks poised to strike over the longer journey.

He savaged the line at his latest outing and put the writing on the wall for a strong performance here.

QUADDIE

Q

$90 for 50%

Queman, Prairie Fire, Hongbao, and Shirshov could make or break our quaddie in the opening leg.

It’s a competitive Benchmark 82, and a blowout result wouldn’t surprise me.

She’s Fit is good in the Derby, while Pearl Adios, Star Vega, and Party Princess look to have the Guineas at their mercy.

It’s a field job in the lucky last!
