Best Bet - Morphettville Race 4

Remedies $3.00

Remedies is knocking on the door!

The Sepoy filly is super honest and finds a suitable race on Saturday.

The drop back to 1050m is advantageous, and she will get the gun run from barrier five.

She meets easier opposition, and with even luck in transit, I expect her to figure in the finish.

The James Cummings polish must be respected.

Princess Duhallow will have supporters after an impressive last-start victory at Flemington.

She is ready to peak third-up from a spell, and I expect Harry Coffey to roll forward from an outside barrier.

If caught wide early, she may be exposed in the concluding stages.

Killiako $4.60

Killiako needs to bounce back after two disappointing runs this campaign.

The Maurice filly will appreciate the step out to a mile, and she has performed well third-up from a spell previously.

I expect her to attack the line late if she can find cover from the awkward barrier.

The Kayla Crowther and Phillip Stokes combination must be respected, and I expect further market support before the barriers open on Saturday.

The top-weight Yuri Royale looks ready to peak.

His best form reads exceptionally well for this event, and he should be rock-hard fit after his recent outings.

The apprentice claim could prove a masterstroke, and he looks ominous from an inside draw.

Whether or not he can reproduce his best form is the primary concern.

Best Roughie - Morphettville Race 2

Understatement $12/$3.30

Understatement was luckless last start at Oakbank.

The Fastnet Rock gelding is racing extremely well; his next win is just around the corner.

The step out to 2500m is advantageous, and he looks well-placed and weighted in this grade.

He races well at Morphettville, and I expect him to be thereabouts with even luck in transit.

Sous Les Nuages will start favourite despite not winning out of turn.

The Holy Roman Emperor gelding will appreciate the significant class drop, and his record over the longer trips must be respected.

The primary concerns are his winning record and his stats on top of the ground.

QUADDIE

Q

$90 for 20%

We are banking on Yuri Royale and Killiako in the first-leg of the quaddie.

Both look set to peak third-up from a spell, and this is a winnable Benchmark 68 for horses with their talent.

We have gone extremely wide in the second and fourth legs, while Party Princess is our anchor in the third.

Best of luck!
