Rosehill March 25th, Tips and Previews

Best Bet - Rosehill Race 7

1

Prowess $2.70

Prowess is a winning machine!

The Kiwi visitor has won her last four races effortlessly and has already tasted success at the top level.

Dropping back to race against her own age and sex is advantageous, and she looks tough to hold out from an inside draw.

She has been well-backed since markets opened, and I expect her to jump around the even money mark.

Pavitra donkey licked her opposition at Kembla Grange last start.

The American Pharoah filly looks talented, and I expect further natural improvement to come this preparation.

The awkward barrier draw is the primary concern.

Toregene $9.00

Toregene can bounce back after a rare last-start flop in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic.

The Mongolian Khan mare was good first-up at Sandown, and from an inside draw on Saturday, I expect her to get the run of the race.

She is building an impressive career record, and if you can forgive her second-up performance, it may pay dividends.

The drop in grade is significant, and she is ready to fire third-up from a spell.

Import Statement will start favourite for the world-renowned trainer Joseph O’Brien.

The Lawman mare has raced against some serious gallopers, and her best form is good enough to win this event in a canter.

How she measures up against our local talent is the unknown.

Best Roughie - Rosehill Race 1

7

Miss Einstein $11/$3.50

Miss Einstein was good first up after a long break.

The Dundeel mare strips fitter here, and the 1300m is advantageous.

Her record at the track must be respected, and her best form is good enough to win.

After switching stables, the now sever-year-old can enjoy the twilight of her career with the in-form Sam Kavanagh.

Astero will start favourite after narrowly missing at his last two starts.

The Zoustar gelding is flying, and he is knocking on the door.

The significant drop in grade is advantageous, and the 2kg apprentice claim is a luxury.

The length of his preparation is the biggest concern.

QUADDIE

Q

$75 for 20%

Prowess will get our quaddie off to a flyer in the first leg.

The Kiwi superstar looks like the best bet on a tricky program, and she continues to build a picket fence next to her name for fun.

Skyman, Bandersnatch, and Cross Talk are our bankers in the third leg, while we have gone extremely wide in the other events looking for value.

Best of luck!
