Karlstad is a much more seasoned horse than The Milkybar Kid, which sets him apart in this 1800-meter event.
The favourite is coming off a solid maiden win but has to make the rise to city grade, and Hugh Bowman will be stalking in behind him.
Karlstad has a solid fitness base and should be able to chase down the favourite in the concluding stages.

Don’t Dismiss can have his last few runs dismissed given he has been racing in much tougher grade.
