Toomuchtobear $3.4
The old Dutchman is at play here ‘Frank De Form.’
Mr Brightside and Festivus, who Toomuchtobear beat in a Bendigo 1600-metre maiden a fortnight ago, have both come out and bolted in at their next starts to frank the form.
Craig Williams has been booked to guide this horse around the Sandown Lakeside track and he should be able to ascertain a front-running role which is exactly what is needed at this circuit.
Looks a horse on the rise and this is a nice way to progress through the grades into city racing.

Rockribbed $3.3
This three-year-old gelding made the rise to city class at only his second start two months ago.
The Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace-trained juvenile and fought on bravely to run second behind Knock Knock who had the drop on him as well as a fitness edge.
No knock with the gap between runs given he has been kept up to the mark with jump outs and he gets the services of in-form apprentice Teodore Nugent.
He will stride to the front from the inside barrier and should be able to boot clear at the top of the straight to gain a winning break.

Reckoning $18/$4.6
Reckoning must be going well enough considering he races only a week-and-a-half since his most recent effort.
He was specked at long odds at Caulfield on July 10 in a BM-84 over 1400 metres after having over a month away from the racing scene and should take great benefit from the run.
Senior jockey Brett Prebble sticks with him and from barrier four he will not have to do too much work in the run.
He is a proven wet tracker with two wins and three placings from his seven starts on soft going.
