The world-class six-year-old can receive the run of the race from a perfect inside draw, and if he gets off the dulex as they run for the doctor, I expect him to prove too strong late.
Alalcance has upside for days!
The Waterhouse and Bott trained five-year-old mare is progressing through her grades successfully, and she deserves her shot at this lofty level.
The 53kg puts her into all winning conversations, and she has been screaming out for the longer trip since Joe Biden was in high school.
It may pay dividends to follow her moving forward.

Hedged was good first-up without winning.
The Capitalist gelding was heavily supported in the market and was game in defeat.
His strips fitter after his recent outing, and the 1200m looks ideal second-up.
The form around him during the autumn has stood up time and again, and I suspect his quote will continue to shorten before the barriers open on Saturday.
Hard to toss!
Brudenell was slightly disappointing fresh.
His second-up record must be respected, and he is a six-furlong specialist.
From barrier four, he will roll forward and sit on top of the speed, and if he is allowed to dictate the tempo throughout, the contest could turn into a mere procession.

The Galileo Gold gelding would have been competitive in ‘The Gong’ on times and margins, and he gets his opportunity on Saturday to claim a $2,000,000 Group 2 event.
Jumping from another suburb is the primary concern.
Gringotts is winning for fun at present.
The Per Incanto gelding is building a picket fence next to his name, and I suspect this event has been the long-range target from the premier stable.
He looks poised to strike from a middle gate, and he has been absolutely hammered in early betting.
The grandstand weight is the biggest deterrent.
