Zardozi $3.50
Zardozi was brilliant at her latest outing against the world class filly Orchestral.
She was game in defeat and put the writing on the wall for a next-start victory.
The step out to 2400m is advantageous, and I suspect she is ready to peak against the boys on Saturday.
If the predicted rain falls before the barriers open, her quote will continue to shorten significantly.
Hard to toss from a perfect inside draw!
Tom Kitten has had a luckless campaign.
The talented Harry Angel colt keeps finding trouble in transit, and it has been a hard watch for his faithful followers.
The big boy will appreciate the longer trip, and his best form puts him into all winning conversations.
If he can see daylight as they run for the doctor, I expect him to fight out the finish.
Take on trust!

Imperatriz $3.00
Imperatriz comes to Sydney town after claiming her tenth Group 1 victory in the William Reid Stakes.
The best sprinting mare since Black Caviar looks well placed in this company, and if the heavens open before race day, I suspect her rivals will have restless and sleepless nights.
Her versatility makes her exceptionally hard to beat, and the fact the majority of the field is conceding weight could be a mere formality for the Champion.
From the middle gate, she will be prominent, and if she still has another top-level run in the locker to pull out, her rivals could be running for the minor prizemoney!
Sunshine In Paris was a victim of circumstances fresh.
The well-supported and classy Invader mare found inferior ground; to her credit, she was only edged out by a pimple.
She strips fitter after her first-up performance and finds her pet distance.
I am unsure if the predicated track conditions will help her pursuit.

Kovalica $18.00/$5.00
Kovalica is poised to strike third-up from a spell.
The Ocean Park gelding has performed well in this campaign without threatening, and I suspect this is his grand final for autumn.
The big boy won’t have an issue with the mile, and he handles all track conditions.
From the awkward gate, he can sit midfield with cover, and if the in-form Tommy Berry presents him with his run at the right time, I expect him to figure in the finish.
His racing style and pattern always requires an element of good fortune.
Another Wil could be the real deal!
The Street Boss gelding will have plenty of supporters after his recent dominance in lower grades, and I suspect he has further natural improvement to come.
The mile doesn’t hold any fears, and the 50kg luxury could prove the winning difference.
The carpark draw and significant class rise are among the primary concerns.

$126 for 25%
I Wish I Win, Private Eye, Mazu, Imperatriz, Bella Nipotina, and Sunshine In Paris can fight out an intriguing edition of the T J Smith.
It’s a quality field and should be a great spectacle for racing and sporting fans alike.
We have gone extremely wide in the time-honoured Doncaster Mile, while Zardozi looks to have the ATC Australian Derby at her mercy.
Learning To Fly, Kristilli, Platinum Jubilee, Miraval Rose, Commemorative, Cigar Flick, and Monte Supreme, will all be prominent in the final event on the program, the P J Bell Stakes.
