Liverpool

$2.10

While all three title contenders have silverware within their reach, do The Reds arguably have more to play for than City and Arsenal?

There is less than a quarter of the 2023/24 EPL season remaining, and Liverpool is currently the $2.10 favourite to win their 20th League title and first since 2019/20. In fact, if The Reds can outplay their two rivals, they will draw level with Manchester United for the equal-most winning seasons in EPL history (20).

It’s been a busy period for the Jürgen Klopp’s men with victory in the EFL Final (1-0 vs Chelsea), a 4-3 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinals, and a Europa League demolition of Sparta Praha. Importantly, they’ve still got two legs of the Europa League quarters to play against Atalanta while trying to maintain their dominance in the EPL.

Recent form suggests the busy schedule hasn’t impacted their performance too much, with a 3-1 loss to Arsenal on February 5 their only hiccup so far this year.

One thing to keep in mind is that they’ve arguably got the toughest run home of any of the big three, with Manchester United, West Ham, Tottenham and Aston Villa still to come.

Mohamed Salah has once again led from the front for Liverpool with an equal-second 16 goals and equal-fourth nine assists. No man will have more a say on whether The Reds can complete the season with title in hand.

Run Home: Sheffield United, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Everton, West Ham, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Wolves.

Manchester City

$2.88

After a slower-than-usual start to the season, Pep Guardiola has his team humming at the right time of the year as they attempt to make up the most ground of the three contenders.

Sitting third with 67 points and one less game to play than the second-placed Liverpool, City will have no room for mistakes in the run home as they look for their fourth-consecutive title and sixth in seven seasons.

From a scheduling point-of-view, they will need to play more games due to their Champions League quarterfinals against Real Madrid – yes, they’re trying to defend that title too – and FA Cup semi against Chelsea.

However, after winning five titles in 2023, few would doubt they can manage the workload down the stretch.

Looking ahead, City boasts arguably the most accessible run home, with games against Tottenham, Brighton, and West Ham their only minor concerns. Otherwise, every game is certainly winnable.

Guardiola has shown he is willing to rest star players after dropping Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, citing a busy upcoming schedule as the reason. Haaland leads the League with 18 goals, while Rodri, Julian Alvarez and Phil Foden have provided other avenues to score.

A busy fixture but an easier fixture, it’s certainly not beyond the champs to win every remaining game.

Run Home: Crystal Palace, Luton Town, Tottenham, Brighton, Forest, Wolves, Fulham, West Ham.

Arsenal

$3.75

If there’s no position like pole position, the Gunners are in the prime spot heading into the final stretch of matches as they sit on top with 68 points and an incredible goal differential of 48.

Despite their $3.75 quote suggesting they’re third in line for the title, and their first since 2003/04, the Gunners lead the League in both goals for (72) and against (24).

Not only are the Gunners winning their match-ups, they’re dismantling opponents. Since January, they’ve claimed two 5-0 and two 6-0 victories.

Like Liverpool, Arsenal has four games of interest in the run home against Brighton, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United. Add in two legs of the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich and it’s safe to say, it’s one of the tougher fixtures of the top three teams.

Recent history is against the Gunners in their pursuit of the title, finishing second or third seven times since their last championship in 2004.

However, with the likes of Bukayo Saka (13), Kai Havertz (8), and Leandro Trossard (7) leading the charge upfront, this could possibly be the drought-breaker Arsenal fans have been dreaming of.

Run Home: Brighton, Aston Villa, Wolves, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bournemouth, Manchester United, Everton.
