Market Magic $2.30
Last year’s edition of the Max Lees Classic produced the talented and Group 1 competitive Cylinder!
Market Magic has turned heads at the trials.
The Capitalist colt looks well placed jumping from an inside draw, and being from the Gai Waterhouse camp, I suspect he will have plenty of early speed and fitness.
Tim Clark takes the ride, and there has been a flood of money for the precocious two-year-old.
Gram will have supporters after producing several teasing trials.
The Exceed And Excel colt looks well furnished, and he is a valuable commodity closely related to the stakes-winning juvenile Zulfiqar.
The awkward barrier is the primary concern.

Far Too Easy $5.50
Far Too Easy caught the eyes of punters fresh in the Kosciuszko.
The All Too Hard gelding will appreciate the step out in the distance, and he is a proven second-up performer.
From barrier one, I expect the talented five-year-old will camp behind the leader’s back, and if the big boy can rail like a greyhound on straightening, he will fight out the finish.
This is his acid test!
Mazu is the class runner of the field.
His run in the Giga Kick Stakes was full of merit, and he was pretty close to the winners in the $20,000,000 Everest.
His best form reads incredibly well for this event, I suspect beautiful Broadmeadow will suit his racing pattern and style.
He needs to recapture his winning form.

Marnix $10.00/$3.00
Marnix was an impressive winner first-up at Randwick.
The Written Tycoon gelding was friendless in betting. However, he sprouted wings late to get the chocolates.
The consistent six-year-old traditionally performs well second-up, and the 1300m is in his wheelhouse.
He can occupy the box seat from barrier four throughout, and with only 52.5kg on his back, there is a serious winning chance.
Over the odds!
Much Much Better will start favourite after a tough and gritty win at his latest outing.
The Stratum gelding was under siege throughout, and I am confident he will benefit from the successful performance.
The 3kg apprentice claim puts him into all winning calculations, and his record at the track and distance must be respected.
The awkward alley is the primary concern.
QUADDIE
Q
$110 for 20%
Kintyre, Influential, Invincible Spy, Metallic Ruler, and Just In Time will all be prominent in the Group 3 Spring Stakes.
Mazu and Far Too Easy look the most likely to threaten in the feature event on the program, the $1,000,000 Hunter, while it’s a field job in the Kurt Fearnley Legend Mile.
Much Much Better, Fender, Capo Strada, Marnix, and Ita can battle it out in the Karaka Millions.
Best of luck!
