Globe $3.00

Globe is the boom horse on the scene.

The Charm Spirit gelding comes to Moonee Valley undefeated, and his recent barrier trial was as good as it gets!

The talented five-year-old looks to have the spring at his mercy, and if he handles the tight turning circuit on Saturday, I expect him to prove too strong for his rivals.

His biggest challenge is stepping up to open weight-for-age conditions for the first time.

Tuvalu is ready to win.

His first-up performance was full of merit, and the form out of that race will stand up tall for the rest of the year.

The Lindsay Smith-trained galloper will appreciate the sting out of the ground and has been well-supported since markets opened.

The carpark draw is the primary concern.

Rothfire $5.50

Rothfire can lead them a merry dance!

The Rothesay gelding has an impressive first-up record, and his stats over the 1000m are near perfect.

He won this race last year, and if he can show them a clean pair of heels early, I expect him to look the winner as they run for the doctor.

I would prefer to see him on top of the ground.

Giga Kick is the best horse in the race and, arguably, in the world.

If the Scissor Kick gelding would ever be vulnerable fresh, it would be at Moonee Valley over 1000m.

His best distance is 1200m, and his racing pattern and style is more suited at bigger tracks like Flemington or Royal Randwick.

Odd on, look on!

Zoukerette $14.00/$3.70

Zoukerette is racing in great spirit.

The I Am Invincible filly is going through her grades successfully and deserves her shot at this level.

She has the Maher and Eustace polish, and there has been an avalanche of money for her in early betting.

From barrier eight, she will roll forward to take luck out of the equation, and if she can pinch some cheap sectionals throughout, she may prove hard to run down.

Over the odds!

Charm Stone will start favourite after an impressive first-up victory.

The I Am Invincible filly oozes class, and her form reads exceptionally well for this event.

She is undefeated second-up, and the 1200m looks ideal at this stage of her preparation.

I am unsure if Moonee Valley will complement her racing pattern and style.

QUADDIE

Q

$84 for 100%

Berkeley Square can win the opening leg of the quaddie!

Both runs of this preparation have been full of merit, and the predicated track conditions will suit.

Giga Kick, Rothfire, and Imperatriz will fight out the Mcewen Stakes, while Tuvalu and Globe will be prominent in the Feehan Stakes.

We have gone extremely wide in the lucky last, looking for some value and insurance.
