Tiz Invincible $2.50

Tiz Invincible has turned heads at both career starts.

The I Am Invincible filly was game in defeat on debut, and she lost no admirers second-up behind a smart one.

Her barrier trials leading into this have been stunning, and I suspect she will be fully wound up for a first-up tilt.

The Maher and Eustace polish must be respected, and with Black-Type on the line, she looks incredibly hard to beat.

I wonder if the inside draw benefits her racing style and pattern.

The Instructor has a sensational turn of foot.

The Russian Revolution colt won several key lead-up races for the Blue Diamond, and he gave a good sight before fading late in the two-year-old feature.

He will roll forward from barrier five, and if he can control the tempo, he may prove hard to run down.

The last 50m will be his acid test!

Ucalledit $8.50

Ucalledit has been a revelation during the winter months.

He won the Winter Stakes at his latest outing with authority and is chasing a hattrick of victories on Saturday.

The Zacinto gelding is a 1400m specialist, and his best form reads incredibly well for this event.

The 3kg apprentice claim puts him into all winning conversations, and he will appreciate the significant drop in grade.

The carpark draw is the primary concern.

Pericles will have supporters after a solid autumn preparation.

He was always thereabouts and looked the winner at the furlong in most races he entered.

The Street Boss gelding snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in some serious features last campaign, and he needs to atone by taking the step in his career during the spring.

His inability to close out winnable races is the biggest deterrent.

Miss Ghent $15.00/$3.30

Miss Ghent can run a big race at a decent price.

Her form is better than it reads in the guide, and I am expecting a peak performance for the campaign on Saturday.

The step out in distance is ideal, and she should get the run of the race from the inside draw.

If the leaders spend their pennies during the race’s early stages, they can capitalise in the shadows of the post.

She needs to put another win on the board!

Caballus will start favourite after an impressive last-start victory.

The I Am Invincible colt put his rivals to the sword a long way from home, and with even luck in transit, he can continue on his winning way.

From barrier three, he will drift back and watch the race unfold, and if he is within striking distance on straightening, he can blow away his rivals late.

He may give his rivals a winning head start during the run.

QUADDIE

Q

$120 for 100%

Excelladus, Wategos, and Freedom Rally can battle it out in the opening leg of the quaddie.

They are racing well, and I expect a forward performance from the consistent trio in question.

The Instructor and Tiz Invincible are the key runners in the day’s feature event.

Both are coming off stunning autumn campaigns, and they look to have a big spring ahead of them.

Ucalledit and Pericles have the penultimate event between them, while we have gone extremely wide in the lucky last, looking for value!
