Mostly Cloudy $2.50

Mostly Cloudy is ready to win!

Both runs this preparation have been full of merit, and I suspect the Harzand gelding is ready to peak third-up from a spell.

The step out in the distance is ideal at this stage of the preparation, and there has been a flood of money for the rising five-year-old in early betting.

The 54kg is a luxury, and with even luck in transit, I expect him to make his presence felt when the whips are cracking.

Mimi’s Award will have supporters after producing a stunning victory at headquarters.

The Shamus Award mare is racing in great spirit, and the longer trip plays into her favour.

She should be rock-hard fit after a lengthy campaign, and if she is presented with her run at the right time, she can win.

The class rise is her biggest challenge.

Ranting $5.00

Ranting can resume a winner for his new stable.

The Zoustar gelding turned heads recently at the jumpouts, and I suspect he will enjoy a new lease on life with the Nick Ryan camp.

He traditionally races well first-up from a spell, and the straight-six assignment looks ideal fresh.

The big boy has had good market support, and I expect the money to continue until the barriers open.

His winning record and recent form are among the primary concerns.

He’s Our Bonneval is ready to explode.

All runs this campaign have been eye-catching, and his next win is just around the corner.

The drop back to 1200m could prove a masterstroke, and he looks well-placed meeting easier opposition.

He needs to turn positive performances into victories!

Michelotti $19.00/$4.60

Michelotti can bounce back here at a price!

The Sebring gelding has had a luckless campaign to date, and he finds a winnable race on Saturday.

From barrier four, he should get the run of the race, and the 3kg apprentice claim brings him into all winning conversations.

The 1400m is in his wheelhouse, and he has performed well at the track previously.

It may pay dividends to watch for any significant market support.

Legio Ten will start a short-priced favourite after producing a near-perfect preparation.

The Exosphere gelding is notching up victories for fun, and he looks well-placed to continue on his winning ways.

He is ready for the 1400m, and the 2kg apprentice could prove the winning difference.

I am undecided if barrier one is an advantage with his racing pattern.

QUADDIE

Q

$96 for 200%

Mostly Cloudy can get our quaddie off to a flyer!

He is ready to win and our best bet on a very tricky and competitive program.

Do Ya Punk, He’s Our Bonneval, and Ranting can battle out the second leg, while nothing would surprise in the penultimate event.

Boonie can finish the day on a winning note for favourite punters.

Best of luck!
