Best Bet - Eagle Farm Race 8
1
Fireburn $3.00
Fireburn is set to create history by winning the Golden Slipper and an Oaks!
This is an incredible feat, last achieved by the brilliant Miss Finland in 2006 when she claimed the VRC Oaks stunningly.
The carpark draw is her biggest obstacle. However, she is better than her opposition.
She was brilliant last start in The Roses at Doomben, and I expect her to grab her slice of racing immortality Saturday!
The length of her campaign is the primary concern.
Renaissance Woman is trying to turn the tables on Fireburn.
The extra distance is advantageous, and if the favourite feels the pinch late, she will be there to take advantage.
She has a lovely middle draw, and I expect her to storm home when the chips are pushed in.
Great edition of the Queensland Oaks!

Prince Of Boom $4.00
Prince Of Boom looks well placed meeting easier opposition.
He has performed admirably at the Group 1 level this preparation, and I expect him to show his class on Saturday.
The Spirit Of Boom gelding will roll forward and control the tempo throughout, and if his rivals don’t apply enough pressure in transit, this race could be over a long way from home.
He is rock-hard fit at this stage of the preparation, and he looks one of the better bets on the program!
Quantico will start favourite after a luckless run at Scone.
He was a moral beaten, and it was a hard watch for favourite punters.
The I Am Invincible gelding is talented, and he can bounce back here with even luck in transit.
The rising seven-year-old can find bad luck during the pointy end of a race!

Osmose $12.00/$3.30
Osmose looks over the odds!
The Zoffany mare is ready to peak third-up from a spell, and she should get the run of the race from the perfect inside draw.
She has attacked the line at her latest two outings, and the mile looks perfect at this stage of her campaign.
The step up in class is the query.
Foxy Frida will start favourite after a mind-blowing win at Morphettville.
The Foxwedge mare looked in trouble on straightening before the cream rose to the top.
She never runs a bad race, and I expect the flood of money to continue.
She looks a bit skinny in the market after an arduous campaign.
QUADDIE

$108 for 100%
Military Expert, Brigantine, and Skyman are our standout selections in the opening leg of the quaddie.
They look poised to strike and have all been supported in early betting.
Prince Of Boom and Quantico can fight it out in the Moreton Cup, while I expect Fireburn to show her class in the Queensland Oaks.
The lucky last looks like the toughest race on the program!
