Best Bet - Sunshine Coast Race 6

Yellow Brick $3.10

Yellow Brick is building an excellent career record.

He is a winning machine and was arguably unlucky not to claim the 3yo Magic Millions.

Ben Thompson has a winning association with the big boy, and I expect him to roll forward from the tricky alley.

The race could be over before the final furlong if he can find the front during the early stages.

His recent barrier trial was first-class, and he looks like the best bet on a very competitive racing program!

Spacewalk will have supporters after a consistent preparation.

The Exosphere gelding is always thereabouts, and I expect the money to continue for the James Cummings trained galloper.

His recent barrier trial puts him into all winning conversations, and I expect him to figure in the finish with even luck in transit.

Atishu $6.50

Atishu was ultra-impressive, winning the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf at Randwick at her latest outing.

The Savabeel mare put her rivals to the sword before the final furlong, and it was easy watching for those punters who dived into the double-figure quote.

Her recent barrier trial leading into this event was teasing, and with even luck in transit, she will be motoring home late.

Barrier fourteen is the primary concern.

Zaaki will start favourite in his pursuit of winning three consecutive Hollindale Stakes.

He was excellent first-up in the All Ages Stakes and strips fitter here.

I am concerned the rising nine-year-old may produce a flat second-up run off a long break.

His fresh run at Randwick was on a bottomless pit, and the long Caloundra home straight may get the better of him if he hasn’t fully recovered.

Odd-on look on!

Best Roughie - Sunshine Coast Race 5

10

Love Sensation $9.00/$3.00

Love Sensation is resuming after a breakthrough summer preparation.

The lightbulb finally switched on for the Night Of Thunder mare, and she looked hard to beat here from the ideal inside barrier.

Her victories last campaign read extremely well for this event, and her recent barrier trial put the writing on the wall for a solid first-up performance.

Her fresh record is the primary concern.

Tycoon Evie is knocking on the door!

Both runs this campaign have been teasing, and I expect a peak performance third-up from a spell.

The James Mcdonald and Paul Snowden combination must be respected, and there has been an avalanche of money for her in early betting.

The allocated weight is her biggest obstacle.

QUADDIE

Q

$40 for 500%

Yellow Brick will fly the flag for the punters in the opening leg of the quaddie.

The talented gelding by The Mission has won five out of his first seven career starts, and he can resume a winner on Saturday.

Zaaki and Atishu can battle it out in the second leg, while Far Too Easy, Ucalledit, Brigantine, and Me Me Lagarde are our selections in a very competitive third leg.

The Chris Waller trained Rousseau is our banker in the final event of the day.

Best of luck!
