Wicklow $3.70

Despite jumping from the carpark, Wicklow looks incredibly hard to beat.

The Twilight Son gelding has been impressive both starts this campaign, and I expect him to peak on Friday.

The step out to 2000m looks advantageous, and I suspect this has been a long-range targeted event.

He meets similar opposition here and has been crunched since markets opened.

Pink Ivory is another runner cruelled by the barrier draw.

The Redwood mare drops in grade significantly, and she been brilliant this campaign without winning.

She is rock-hard fit at this stage of her preparation, and I expect her to be motoring home when the whips are cracking.

The primary concern is getting too far out of her ground during the middle stages.

Best Intent $5.50

Best Intent was impressive on debut at Canberra.

The Hellbent filly will appreciate the step out to 1200m, and the flood of early money tells me she is ready to fire second-up.

She can sit behind the speed battle from barrier three, and if the leaders spend their pennies too early, she will gobble them up late.

Her quote will continue to shorten if the track deteriorates further.

Too Sharp will have supporters after a consistent debut preparation.

The Bull Point gelding has finished in the placings on three occasions and looks ready to shake the maiden tag.

The wet track is advantageous, and the Barbra Joseph camp is currently training winners for fun.

Not being able to convert good performances into victories is a red flag.

Brothers Of Antrim $12/$3.80

Brothers Of Antrim is flying!

The Brothers War gelding has won his last two outings, and he can make it a hat trick of wins on Friday.

His win two starts back at Corowa was resilient, while his recent victory at Wodonga was a stunning front-running display of acceleration.

From barrier ten, I expect him to cross and look for pole position, and if he can find the front in the early stages, he may prove hard to run down.

He is rock-hard fit, and he is over the odds!

His record at the distance is the query.

Participator will start favourite after a consistent campaign.

The Contributer gelding left his run too late last start, and they let the punters down as a well-backed odds-on favourite.

He meets easier opposition here, and his record at the track and distance speaks volumes.

The awkward gate is the biggest concern.

QUADDIE

Q

$64 for 100%

Clear Choice and Diesel are our standout selections in the opening leg of the quaddie.

Both look well placed at Benchmark 74 level and are drawn to get ideal runs in transit.

I am happy to go out in the second leg with Celestial Spirit.

The Zoustar filly looks one of the better bets on the program, and she seems poised to strike here after a stunning first-up performance at Warwick Farm.

Pink Ivory and Wicklow are our cup selections, while nothing would surprise in the lucky last.

Best of luck!
