Best Bet - Sandown Race 3

Extreme Ally $3.40

Extreme Ally is knocking on the door!

The Extreme Choice filly was brave on top of the speed last start, and she can roll forward again on Wednesday from a middle gate.

The apprentice claim looks advantageous, and the 1300m is ideal at this stage of her preparation.

The primary concern is not being able to break the maiden status in winnable races.

Despite drawing the carpark, The Maggstar can run well.

The Barbados mare was excellent at her race debut, and with further natural improvement to come, she goes into all winning conversations.

Inexperience is the biggest concern.

Liberated Girl $5.50

Liberated Girl can win here after a bit of freshen-up.

The Iffraaj mare was only grabbed in the shadows at Moonee Valley last start, and a repeat performance would see her figure in the finish.

From barrier three, she will roll forward and make her own luck, and if they leave her alone in front, the race may be over at the top of the straight.

The significant drop in distance is the primary concern.

Circle Of Magic will start favourite for the inform Kavanagh stable.

She is racing consistently, and her last-start win against a similar field was convincing.

The allocated weight is the biggest obstacle for the Per Incanto mare.

Best Roughie - Sandown Race 5

Brazen Lady $15/$4.60

Brazen Lady can bounce back after a rare last-start flop in a hot race.

The Brazen Beau filly finds easier opposition here, and her win at this track two starts back was stunning.

The 3kg apprentice claim could prove a winning move, and the 1500m looks ideal at this stage of her preparation.

The wide barrier is the primary concern.

Great Taste has been smashed since markets opened.

The Choisir filly bolted in at Sale last start, and she deserves her shot at this level.

She should get the run of the race from barrier three, and Blake Shinn could ride a broomstick to victory at the moment.

The Price and Kent combination must be respected, and I expect the money to continue until the barriers open.

$105 for 25%

Brazen Lady and Great Taste are our standout selections in the first leg of the quaddie.

They are racing consistently, and I expect them to fight it out over the concluding stages on Wednesday.

We have gone extremely wide in the middle legs, while we are banking on Globe in the lucky last to finish off the day for punters in style.

Best of luck!
