Moonee Valley March 24th, Tips and Previews

Brave Mead $2.15

Brave Mead was very good second-up at Pakenham.

The Brave Smash colt has further improvement to come, and he looks ideally placed in this grade.

He is a 1200m specialist, and he will make his own luck on top of the speed.

If the valuable colt is left alone up front, the race could be over a long way from home.

Coast Princess heads to Moonee Valley after a tough last start win at Pakenham.

The Russian Revolution filly is versatile, and she can figure here despite the awkward barrier draw.

She is already a winner at the distance, and she has been heavily backed since markets opened.

Manhattan Baby looks over the odds.

The step out to 1200m is advantageous, and the Mikki Isle filly is due for a change in luck!

Revolutionary Miss $4.20

Revolutionary Miss was a brilliant winner at Flemington third-up from a spell.

From a middle gate she should get the run of the race, and she will be hard to hold out over the mile.

She is rock-hard fit, and it will take a good mare to beat her on current form.

Barb Raider looks ready to peak and win.

She is a classy mare who has produced two eye-catching runs this campaign.

From barrier four she can stalk the speed, and if the gaps appear on straightening, I expect here to figure in the finish.

Sirileo Miss was a dominant winner last start.

The Pride Of Dubai mare is ultra-consistent, and her best form is good enough to win this event.

September Run $21/$6

September Run can defend her William Reid crowd.

She was brilliant first-up in the Black Caviar Lightning before being cramped for room in the Newmarket Handicap.

Her third-up record at Group 1 level is exceptional, and I am expecting a peak performance on Friday night.

Imperatriz will start favourite after an impressive Australian debut.

She was grabbed in shadows by the talented Artorius, and she can make her own luck sitting close to the speed.

If Opie Bosson presses the button at the right time, she may prove hard to run down.

Jigsaw deserves his shot at this grade.

He is putting a picket fence next to his name, and he will get his chance to shine from a middle gate.

If he can find a couple of lengths, he can match it with our elite sprinters!

QUADDIE

Q

$75 for 20%

Sirileo Miss and Revolutionary Miss are our standout selections in the first leg of the quaddie.

They both looked poised to strike in the Sunline Stakes, and I expect them to battle out the finish.

Unflinching, Lady Solly, and Foxicon are our anchors in the second leg, while we have gone wide in the remaining events.

Best of luck!
