If John Allen can find cover in the running-line and present the big boy at the right time, I expect him to win again.

A win here would be fitting and well-deserved for a galloper who has performed at the top level for most of his career.

He has been freshened since, and his barrier trial leading into this event was outstanding.
From gate one, he can sit close to the speed, and if the gaps appear at the right time, he can figure in the finish.
The Annabel Neasham stable is flying at present, and this has been a targeted race for some time.
Jamie Mott is riding winners for fun at present, and I expect him to give the Holy Roman Emperor gelding the run of the race.
Watch for any late market support.
