His trial leading into this event was first-class, and if he can overcome a wide barrier, he will be in the finish.
Zorro’s Dream looks over the odds after an eye-catching fresh run.
He excels second-up, and the 1000m looks like his ideal distance.

She is a genuine performer, and she looked great storming home at Rosehill last start.
The 1300m looks ideal, and I expect her to be savaging the line late on Saturday.
She is a winner at the track, and Mark Zahra should have plenty of options from barrier six.
Wrote To Arataki absolutely destroyed her opposition at Flemington last start.
She can play a role despite being drawn off the track.
Excelida is better than this grade.
Her record at the track and the distance are the primary concerns.

He had the perfect run-in transit, he loomed to win, but he died on his run as the winning post emerged.
With the 3kg apprentice claim, he looks ideally placed to make amends.
British Columbia will start favourite after a brave third behind Shove Over and Suparazi at Flemington.
He will sit on top of the speed from barrier two, and I expect him to look the winner halfway down the home straight.
He can peak third-up from a spell and may prove hard to run down.
Soobooma looks over the odds.
He always needs luck with his racing style, but he is a genuine place of hope with the proper run.
