AFL Round 14, Tips and Previews

Tigers vs. Blues

June 16th

A repeat of Round 1 unfolds at the MCG.

The Tigers meet the Blues for the second time this season with revenge on the mind of the home team.

Carlton broke a nine-year run of outs against Richmond with a 25-point win.

However, the Tigers get a handful of players back from that Round 1 game including Nick Vlastuin and Kamdyn McIntosh who are both vital to how they set up.

With injuries piling up for Carlton, there is no way they can sustain their form for this long.

A tipping point must eventually come and tonight could very well be that night.

Tigers in a canter.

SUGGESTED BET:

Tigers 25+ points at $2.90

Saints vs. Bombers

June 18th

St Kilda will be keen to make amends for its loss to Brisbane last weekend when it meets Essendon at Marvel Stadium.

Poised for a return to finals, the Saints have toiled away strongly for most of the season and have been in superior form to Essendon.

The Bombers just look nothing like the team which made the top eight last season and has struggled to get any winning momentum at all.

With Darcy Parish out, the Essendon midfield looks wafer thin.

Saints to do it easily.

SUGGESTED BET:

Saints -23.5 at $1.90

Giants vs. Bulldogs

June 18th

Surely the market has paid too much attention to the Bulldogs off-field drama and Bailey Smith being out.

The Bulldogs come up outsiders for this match against GWS who might have won well last week, but the Giants only played North Melbourne.

Fresh off a bye and with only one quarter of poor football costing them against Geelong, the Dogs can bounce back at a good price here.

Take the head to head price.

SUGGESTED BET:

Western Bulldogs head to head at $1.98
