NFL Week 4, Tips and Previews

Jaguars vs. Bengals

October 1st

The Cincinatti Bengals face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars for a big Thursday night prime time game in the USA as we charge towards week four of the NFL season.

A 24-10 win over Pittsburgh last week has the Bengals installed as the outright favourite here and it is deservedly so with a fantastic defensive unit in sync throughout the first month.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, has not recorded a win through its first three matches and must find to muster up after a 31-19 loss against Arizona last week.

Defensively, the Jaguars have looked quite shaky and have conceded 91 points at an average of just over 30 points per game.

Winning form is good form and that is what we will side with here.

SUGGESTED BET:

Bengals -7.5 at $1.89

Patriots vs. Buccaneers

October 4th

Tom Brady returns to his old stomping ground when Tampa Bay faces New England for a Sunday night primetime clash in Boston.

The Buccaneers have had a steady start to the year winning their first two games with Brady being the dominant force he is.

But it all came to halt against the Los Angeles Rams last week who delivered Tampa Bay with its first loss of the season.

New England, meanwhile, under the guidance of new quarterback Mak Jones, has fluctuated with its form throughout the opening three weeks.

The Patriots had an easy win over New York before being humbled by New Orleans 28-13 last week to sit at 1-2 coming into this new-found rivalry against Tampa Bay.

Tampa should be able to get the job done with an uber talented offence that is scoring at a rate of knots at the moment, however, the Patriots have shown more than enough at Gillette Stadium this season to be able to cover what looks to be an overstated handicap.

SUGGESTED BET:

Patriots +7.5 at $1.90

Chargers vs. Raiders

October 5th

The undefeated Las Vegas Raiders meet the Los Angeles Chargers for a huge AFC West Divisional clash that could make and shape the season for both franchises.

In what is their best start to a season under Jon Gruden, the raiders have zipped to a 3-0 record on the back of two intense over-time victories, while the Chargers went into the positive ledger at 2-1 through three weeks with an upset win over Kansas City last week.

The Chargers looked at their best when Justin Herbert threw for four touchdown passes in the 30-24 victory.

Defensively, Los Angeles looked on song after forcing star Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes into two intercept throws.

A repeat of that performance would see the Chargers win this clash with a bit up their sleeve.

SUGGESTED BET:

Chargers -3.5 at $1.92
