Switzerland vs. Italy
September 5th
Italy, the champion of Europe, take on Switzerland in a bid to stay on top of Group H and keep its recording breaking undefeated streak intact.
Roberto Mancini guided his nation to 35 games without a loss when being to a 1-1 draw against Bulgaria and in the process equalling the all-time record set by Spain and Brazil.
Switzerland will have relics of the past haunting them having faced Italy in the Group stages of Euro 2020 and suffering a heavy 3-0.
Tough to see Italy dropping more points.
SUGGESTED BET:
Italy head to head at $1.95
Belgium vs. Czech Republic
September 6th
Belgium and Czech Republic do battle in Group E at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Monday morning.
The Belgians will be relying on star striker Romelu Lukaku to keep his breath-taking goal scoring record intact.
Lukaku scored a brace in Belgium’s 5-2 win over Estonia to ensure he kept his nation on top of the group.
His opposite number in Patrik Schick will make his much awaited return to the Czech line-up after doing time for a red card receiving back in March.
Both nations are undefeated in the qualifiers but Czech Republic have only managed four draws from their four fixtures.
SUGGESTED BET:
Draw at $4.75
England vs. Andorra
September 6th
Seeking to maintain their 100% start to World Cup 2022 Qualifying, England step foot onto the Wembley turf for the first time since the Euro 2020 final for Sunday’s visit of Andorra.
The Three Lions dazzled and delighted in a 4-0 thrashing of Hungary on Thursday night, while the visitors claimed their first victory of qualifying over fellow minnows San Marino.
Despite struggling to break down the resolute five-man rearguard in the first 45 minutes, England came out all guns blazing in the second period against Hungary as Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Declan Rice made it four wins out of four in Group I.
Meanwhile, victory over San Marino represented only Andorra’s fourth competitive win of all time since their debut on the international stage in 1996, and they have now kept back-to-back clean sheets following a friendly 0-0 stalemate with Gibraltar in June.
This should be a big win for the Three Lions as they look to get over the heartbreak of Euro 2020.
