Vernaskova

Vernaskova(10)Win $1.80it is a little short in the market, but ithasshowna lot last start, coming1.5 lengthsbehind Written Miss. It came 2ndinin an impressive debut last start and the trainer, CindyAlderson, has a great track record with 3-year-old Filly horses. It will be very fresh after 186-day spell and has drawn the middle barrier number (5). The only thing beating Vernaskova is bad luck it is aclass above here.

Ben Melham should give this a mighty steer with cover and win by 2 lengths in this one. The distance 1108 metres is the perfect range for this horse, it looks like an almighty talent.

Heir To The Throne

Heir To The Throne(1) Win $3.10 ran as a favourite in the market last start. A Gelding with plenty of potential it has excellent form at 2200 metre and is more than ready for the extra distance of 2232 metre. It won at Cranbourne this prep and will be fitter and fresh. Arron Lynch looks set to take the saddle, it will run a very nice race for us punters! Get on early here you won’t be disappointed!

Facemask

Facemask(5) Win $2.00 looks how every Australian is feeling right now “pun intended”. It will be in the white and black silks. It just missed last start and was heavily favoured in the market. It should be rock hard fit and ready for this Benchmark 64. Peter Moody is back in form and will have the blinkers on Facemask for the first time. Which should help it settle and find the line easily. Damien Lane should be in the perfect 1-1 with cover how this horse maps. It is an excellent chance for the win!

Who Doubted Me

Who Doubted Me (11)Win$ 22.00 Place $4.40 A bit of value late here! Coming off a fast-paced run at Cranbourne, this horse rates middle in the field. Billy Egan will be on board for this Benchmark 64. Having drawn the inside barrier, it will be on pace from the start. The 1419 metre distance should help here with it fatigue last time. It looks like it can run a much better race. This looks like a great each way chance.

How’s The Serenity

How’s The Serenity (3) $2.00 having drawn (2) this looks like the winner. It has won at Ascot and placed in all attempts this campaign. I can’t see anything beating it in the field.

H. Watson on board for the 1200metre trip. This looks like a very easy double up early at WA! This would be one of my better bets on the card!

Martnell Witness

Martnell Witness(2) $2win I know we have been picking a lot of favourites here, but it is very hard to go against champion jockey William Pike. It has been running well this campaign winning twice and is now ready for a fast past 1000 metre dash.

For the exotic punters a great quinella would be (5) Nuhad who resume after a 17 week spell and might have the fresh legs to challenge Martnell Witness down the straight the combined odds would be paying over $7. The apprentice will take the 3 kg claim here T Becker and looks primed to run a big race.

Elafella

Elafella (2)$4.00 win It’s a famous last saying back pike drink what you like! Last on the program,William Pike will be on Elafella.

He will be in equal class running out the 1650 metre distance. Trainer Lindsay Smith has spoken briefly about this horse and said it isa very capable type. I am happy to be on in the last with Pike.
