Tron Bolt $2.20

Tron Bolt has one hoof on the till.

The Toronado colt has turned heads early doors, and he arguably should remain undefeated.

His recent victory was a demolition job, and the stable has a fantastic record in the two-year-old feature.

His versatility alone makes him the one to beat, and he handles all conditions.

Yes please!

Stormy Marco is coming off a forgive run.

The Wotton Bassett colt was luckless at a key stage, and his form prior must be respected.

The longer trips suits, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at.

This looks harder, however; he has an ‘X’ factor about him.

Acid test!

Half Yours $3.50

Half Yours is poised to strike.

All runs this preparation have been building towards this event, and I expect the Melbourne Cup winner to sprout wings on Saturday.

The longer trip suits, and I suspect the camp have the big boy trained to the minute for this assignment.

He is the best stayer in the event, and I expect the cream to rise to the top at the pointy end of the contest.

Vauban is too consistent to pot.

His latest effort behind Birdman was rock-solid, and I suspect this has been the long-range target from the astute camp.

The track conditions suit, and he maps to get a perfect run in transit.

He tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

Estadio Mestalla $23.00/$7.00

Estadio Mestalla is over the odds.

The veteran galloper is ultra-consistent, and his performance in the Group 2 The Ingham behind Yorkshire is still fresh in the memory bank.

The step out to 1400m suits, and he is a third-up specialist.

The soft track conditions play into his favour, and he drops 7.5kg under the handicap conditions.

If he can find a position early from the tricky gate, he may take some catching inside the final furlong.

Another Wil is ready to win.

He looked home and hosed at his latest outing, however; he peaked on his run in the shadows.

The seven-furlongs suits, and he strips fitter as a result of recent racing.

The 56.5kg looks generous for a multiple Group 1 winner, and the Ciaron Maher factor must be respected.

Jumping from another postcode is the biggest deterrent.

QUADDIE

Q

$75 for 100%

We have gone extremely wide in a tricky edition of the Dane Ripper Stakes.

It’s an ultra-competitive field, and nothing would surprise.

Tron Bolt has a mortgage on the J.j Atkins, while we have a handful of selections flying the quaddie flag in the Stradbroke Handicap.

Half Yours will decide our fate late in the day.

Best of luck!
