Campione D'italia $2.70

Campione D’Italia looks like the good thing of the day.

His last-start victory was a beauty, and his turn of foot is more than significant.

The step out in trip suits, and I suspect he still has improvement to come for the campaign.

He is rock-hard fit, and he meets similar opposition.

Hard to toss!

Miss Chanel is ready to fire.

The Tagaloa filly is always thereabouts, and she hasn’t missed a top-four spot during her career.

Her performance in the Sires’ Produce was a cracker, and the longer trip is ideal at this stage of her preparation.

She tends to find one or two better at pointy end of a contest.

Angel Capital $5.00

Angel Capital is overdue for a Group 1 victory.

The enigmatic four-year-old finished on the heels of the winners in the Newmarket, while he was a good thing licked in the William Reid.

The key addition of James McDonald speaks volumes, and he has been crying out for the 1400m since the moon landing.

The inside draw will allow him to sit closer in the run, and I expect him to explode on Saturday.

Acid test!

Tom Kitten is over the odds.

His form this campaign is first-class, and I suspect it may dividends to forget that he went around last start.

The All-Star mile winner had genuine excuses, and I expect him to bounce back on Saturday.

Take on trust.

Mal Coupe $16.00/$4.00

Mal Coupe has been a revelation this autumn.

The Xtravagant gelding has progressed through his grades successfully, and he deserves his opportunity in this line-up on Saturday.

The 1200m suits, and he should be rock-hard fit after a long and fruitful campaign.

The inside draw is advantageous, and the 56kg is a luxury.

Hard to toss!

Jokers Grin is one serious customer.

The big boy comes across from Western Australia up and about, and his exposed form is elite.

His best performance here could prove fences and panels better than his opposition, and I suspect his debut run for the Waller yard will be on point.

His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

QUADDIE

Q

$75 for 100%

Campione D’italia has one hoof on the till.

The big boy oozes class, and the mile looks ideal.

We have a handful of gallopers flying the flag in the Hall Mark Stakes, while Angel Capital and several other runners, due to quaddie insurance purposes, gain a gurnsey in the All Aged Stakes.

Green Fly, Cool Jakey, and Captain Furai, will decide our fate late in the day.

Best of luck!
