Tentyris $2.40

Tentyris resumes after a stunning spring campaign.

The Street Boss colt was a brilliant winner of the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, and I expect him to be ultra-competitive in any events he enters moving forward.

He traditionally takes several runs to peak and explode; however, two recent jump-outs should have him cherry-ripe for a first-up tilt. He is ideally placed under the weight-for-age scale, and the wide draw is advantageous down the Flemington straight late in the day.

He maps to get the perfect run in-transit with the predicted frenetic tempo up front, and I suspect he will hit top speed as the peloton fly past the famous clock-tower.

His record at the trip and his fresh performances are the biggest deterrents.

Giga Kick returned to form during the spring.

It was pleasing to see for all racing fans and punters alike, and his best form reads extremely well for this event.

The rising seven-year-old loves Flemington more than Bart Cummings and Makybe Diva, and his fresh record is near perfect.

A recent barrier trial looked ominous, and the early money tells a story.

I am unsure the big boy is suited under the weight-for-age condition in this line-up.

Sabaj $3.50

Sabaj resumes after a breakthrough spring campaign.

The Manhattan Rain gelding was a stunning winner at Flemington in the snow on Champions Day, and his victory in the Cranbourne Cup was first-class.

His residual fitness puts one hoof on the till, and I suspect his best performance here would prove fences and panels too strong for his key rivals.

He may need some luck getting off the dulex as they cut the ribbons.

Matcha Latte caught the eyes of punters first-up at Randwick.

The Maurice gelding savaged the line late. and he put the writing on the wall for a second-up victory.

He comes to Melbourne up and about, and he finds a very winnable assignment on Saturday.

His wide draw and his overall winning record are among the primary concerns.

Sea What I See $10.00/$3.00

Sea What I See is over the odds.

The consistent Sea The Stars mare looks suited against her own sex, and her record at headquarters must be respected.

From the middle draw she will roll forward and pilot the field, and if she can find the bunny uncontested during the early stages of the race, she may prove hard to run down.

Her fresh record is the biggest deterrent.

Wrote To Arataki will have plenty of supporters after producing an impressive first-up victory at Caulfield.

The Wrote mare oozes class, and I suspect she is ready to defend her title in this event after a stunning victory in the ’25 edition.

The inside draw suits, and the camp are flying at present.

An early speed battle may be her undoing.

QUADDIE

Q

$150 for 100%

Sabaj looks hard to toss in the opening leg of the quaddie.

The progressive four-year-old is an excitement machine, and I suspect he is trained to the minute for this event.

Several opponents gain a gurnsey for insurance purposes.

Tentyris can start his autumn campaign with a bang in the feature event on the program, however; Giga Kick and Baraqiel can lower his colours if he gets too far out of his ground.

The big players in the market will fight it out in the penultimate event on the card, while we have a handful of gallopers deciding our fate in the lucky last.
