Brisbane Broncos vs. Sydney Roosters

Head-To-Head

While $1.34 isn’t the most enticing price, there’s no doubt it would’ve been much shorter before the Roosters’ performance last weekend.

Yes, Sydney was impressive against the Titans. Yes, they piled on 30 points in the first half. Yes, they kept their finals hopes alive. But it’s the Broncos!?

Brisbane was equally remarkable in their 16-point win over the Rabbitohs, with 24 points to six in a dominant second half. They sit second on the ladder and are poised to welcome Origin star Thomas Flegler back into their side.

It’s great to see the Roosters putting it together, but the Broncos are overs in this one.

Suggested Bet:

Brisbane Broncos to win at $1.34

Melbourne Storm vs. Parramatta Eels

Totals

This will be one of the games of the round as both sides look to return to form after suffering defeats last weekend.

The Storm is battling the Warriors, Raiders, Sharks, and the Cowboys for a top-four spot and the double chance, while the Eels are sitting eighth with several rivals vying for their position in the finals bracket.

While the Eels are ranked second for points, the Storm is fourth for defence and should nullify Parramatta’s firepower in front of the Melbourne crowd.

Suggested Bet:

Under (-42.5) at $1.87

South Sydney vs. Wests Tigers

Handicap

Souths are deservedly short-priced favourites in this one, but can they end a two-game losing streak with a dominant performance over the cellar-dwellers? In short, yes.

Latrell Mitchell will finally make his long-awaited return from a calf injury; they’ve fallen outside of the eight (ninth), and it was less than a month ago they put up a 22-point victory over the in-form Warriors in NZ.

This is the game the Bunnies need to put it all together.

Suggested Bet:

Souths (-21.5) at $1.90

Dominic Young (Knights)

Anytime Scorer

It’s not very often you’ll see the league-leading try scorer at $1.73, so we’re happy to snap him up as his Knights travel to Canberra this weekend.

In a game that’s expected to be a shootout, Young requires two tries to equal the Knights’ club record of 21 tries in a season.

With a double (vs Tigers) and single (vs Storm) since the bye, Young is in the type of scoring form that gives us the utmost confidence to take $1.73.

Suggested Bet:

D. Young anytime try scorer at $1.73

Penrith Panthers vs. Cronulla Sharks

Same Game Multi

NRL fans are in for a ripsnorter on Saturday night as the Cronulla Sharks try to save their free-falling season against the top-of-the-table Panthers.

While Penrith welcomed Nathan Cleary back with a 44-18 demolition of the Bulldogs, the Sharks suffered their second consecutive loss (to the Sea Eagles) after three straight wins.

The Sharks were still able to score 26 points, but they’ll need that and more if they are to get anywhere near the flag favourites.

  • Leg 1: Penrith to win
  • Leg 2: Over 43.5 points
  • Leg 3: 2nd half highest scoring
  • Leg 4: R. Mulitalo scores anytime
  • Total: $9.50

Suggested Bet:

Same Game Multi
