Best Bet - Randwick Race 4

Magic Time $1.80

Magic Time looks the good thing of the day on a very competitive racing program!

The undefeated Hellbent filly was brilliant in the conditions first-up at Randwick, and she meets a similar field here.

Her cruising speed is sensational, and her turn of foot is sizzling.

From barrier seven, she can sit mid-field, and if Jordan Childs presses the go button at the right time, I am unsure they can beat her.

Opal Ridge had a luckless passage second-up.

The 1400m looks ideal third-up from a spell, and the Rubick filly should get the run of the race from barrier two.

She is building an impressive career record, and with even luck in transit, I expect her to figure in the finish.

Barradas $7.00

Barradas savaged the line first-up at Scone.

The Star Turn gelding looks dangerous jumping from barrier three, and he is undefeated second-up.

On times and margins, he looks better than a Class 3 horse, and I expect him to go through his grades in the coming months.

With ‘Aussie’ Tom Marquand aboard, I expect further market support.

Super Extreme can run well despite drawing the carpark.

He has had an ultra-consistent campaign to date, and the Extreme Choice gelding will appreciate the class drop.

His fate may be decided inside the first furlong.

Best Roughie - Randwick Race 7

Tom Kitten $11/$2.50

Tom Kitten can cause an upset in the third leg of the triple crown, the Champagne Stakes.

The Harry Angel colt looks poised to strike on the quick backup, and he has a sense of timing about him.

He looks like a genuine miler, the soft to heavy conditions suit, and he has a potent turn of foot.

The Godolphin polish will attract attention, and if he can reproduce his blistering late sectionals from last weekend, hide your watches and clocks!

Militarize will start close to even money after a dominant win in the Sires Produce.

The Dundeel colt looks the one to beat in the conditions, and he seems ready for the mile at this stage of his preparation.

Whether or not this race is an afterthought is a primary concern.

QUADDIE

Q

$76 for 10%

Don Corleone, Militarize, and Tom Kitten are our bankers in the opening leg of the quaddie.

The Everest winner Giga Kick looks to have a mortgage on the second leg, the Group 1 All Aged Stakes.

The 1400m will suit the big boy third-up from a spell, and he loves the sting out of the ground.

He can claim his first Group 1 on Saturday!

We have gone extremely wide in the other legs on a very even and competitive program.

Best of luck!
