Dignified Doubt $2.25

The deadly combination of Johnny Allen and the Maher & Eustace stable saddle up Dignified Doubt off a nice maiden win at Kyneton.

She ran a strong final 600 metres in her resuming win and she open to further elevation based off what she did.

The three-year-old filly will need to deal with a spike in the weights to 61.5kgs, but she seems to be a tough bugger who can lug it around this track.

Will only get better with more racing and in a small field, Allen can really dictate what happens in this race.

Wintilly $8.5/$2.9

Being by sire Trust In A Gust, the 1000-metre races Wintilly has contested in have been way too short of what will be her preferred distance.

She has simply been run off her legs and was so when first-up at Cranbourne over 1000 metres.

She drew barrier seven of seven and was never a winning hope.

Coming back to country grade and finding a 1200-metre event to contest is perfect starting point for finding her way up the pecking order.

Odds-on favourite will be hard to beat, but we get a better price about a horse who open to a spike in her rating.

Five Ounce $12/$3

A very interesting set of circumstances arise for Five Ounce.

He finally broke his maiden tag with a nice win at Mornington over 1500 metres and the trainer thinks he can go on with it only a few days later.

Must have pulled up like a champion and licked his bowl clean if he is racing on a four-day back up – always a good sign for a horse.

Being by staying sire Dandino, he should enjoy the 2000 metres.
