Is That A Bid looks ready to make it back-to-back victories after an impressive win at Melton over 2240 metres.
It was his last 50 metres that were super as he showed a great turn-of-foot and sustained speed that is going to be his biggest advantage over this field.
Gate 11 is probably the only reason we are getting better than even money and he will have to take his medicine early in the race and wait for the gaps to open up from the second row.
Gun senior driver Rodney Petroff will be tasked with finding the space and making the right judgement as to when to take off on this trotter which gives us more confidence.

Queen Elida $2.50
Queen Elida looks much more trustworthy than current favourite Banglez.
The Brent Liley-trained three-year-old filly is a real run-and-jump pacer who will put herself in the lead of this race to gain the advantage she needs over Banglez to win.
Banglez might be more talented than our selection but has been a bit hit and miss lately and comes up very short odds, whereas we know what we are going to get Queen Elida.

The Pantheist $16/$4.4
The Pantheist will now be cherry-ripe fitness wise and ready to run a big race at each-way odds.
His first two runs have allowed him to build towards running up to his best, but he does have to contend with coming back to 1710 metres at Ballarat.
That being said, this race looks quite devoid of speed and, even though he drew the same gate when he last raced at this track and distance two starts ago to finish a well-beaten sixth, the map looks much better for him here.
He can head towards the lead without being busted open and then opt to take a sit should it get a bit too hot in the kitchen up front.
