Poseidon Ruler $2
Poseidon Ruler is poised to dominate this race after two nice runs to get him up to the mark.
The three-year-old Tycoon Ruler gelding was brave in defeat on a heavy 10 track with 60kgs on his back over 1300 metres at Dubbo.
He had to brave a sharp 400-metre rise in distance from 900 metres so his effort to run third in such testing conditions was admirable.
He will be peaking into this race and is set to run a career best performance.
The clear weather at Scone should also see the track continue to improve into the drier range of soft and that will improve his chance more so.

Swiss Scent $4.2
Swiss Scent is going to be a big improver getting onto a track that does not replicate the Pacific Ocean.
The three-year-old filly from the Stephen Jones stable raced on a heavy 10 at Dubbo over 1300 metres and hacked away to finish fourth.
Matthew Palmer holds the ride here and draws barrier five, as the pair did last start, so it should them get a nice track into the race by settling one pair behind the early speed setters.
Not too phased about the rise in distance nor the rise in the weights given the strength she showed to hold on after a tolling run in transit last start.

Put a line through her debut run.
The Pat Farrell-trained two-year-old filly had a shocking time of it at Scone over 900 metres but looks much better suited to run an improved race here.
She had to cope with a sharp 900-metre event at this track on a heavy surface and her wheels were spinning when jockey Reece Jones asked her to let down with a run.
She draws an inside barrier again but, as with the two previous selections, she gets a much drier track than last start that should see her at least run a place in this race.
Looks a great each-way play at the big, juicy odds of $34.
