Major Share $4.20
Major Share looks the real deal.
The Overshare gelding has passed every test to date, and he deserves his shot at this level.
The step out to 1100m is advantageous, and I suspect he will pilot the field with a clean start.
The avalanche of early money suggests another bold performance is on the cards, and if he can maintain the picket fence next to his name, there will be some lofty spring goals on the radar.
Gitalong was good without winning fresh.
The Zoustar gelding strips fitter after his recent outing, and he has been specked at a decent price since markets opened.
The big boy races well second-up, and I suspect he will be savaging the line late.
Watch for him late!

Lauding $5.00
Lauding resumes with an air of expectation.
The Proisir gelding is building an impressive career record, and he looks dangerous jumping from an ideal inside draw.
The enigmatic four-year-old can camp behind the speed throughout, and if he sees clear air before the final furlong, I suspect his rivals will be in a bit of froth and bubble!
Nation’s Call will start favourite after recording back-to-back victories.
The Frankel entire will make his luck on top of the speed, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals.
He has been well supported since markets opened, and he deserves his chance at this level.
The wide barrier is the primary concern.

Blaze A Trail $10.00/$3.00
Blaze A Trail is over the odds.
The Criterion gelding was given no chance fresh to figure in the Eye Liner at Ipswich, and I suspect redemption is on the menu for Saturday.
His record second-up must be respected, and the 3kg apprentice claim puts him into all winning conversations.
From barrier five, he will sit midfield with cover, and if he is presented with his run at the right time, I expect him to prove too strong late.
Chorlton Lane is too consistent to pot.
The Mehmas gelding was flying earlier in the campaign, and it may pay dividends to forgive his last start failure.
Barrier one plays into his favour, and he has come in incredibly well at the eights after the apprentice claim.
The current track condition is his biggest obstacle.
QUADDIE
Q
$99 for 50%
Alder, Lauding, and Nation’s Call will battle it out in the opening leg of the quaddie.
Gitalong, Oak Hill, and Major Share look the most likely to trouble the scorer in the second, while Ashford Street and Recommendation will be hard to toss in the feature event on the program, the Sir John Monash Stakes.
It’s a field job in the final event on the program.
Best of luck!
