Fangirl $1.50

Fangirl channelled her inner Winx fresh.

The race was over at the 400m, and James McDonald didn’t move an inch or a muscle!

The Sebring mare has claimed to be the best weight-for-age galloper in the country, and Saturday’s second-up assignment looks a mere formality.

The step out to the mile is advantageous, and she strips fitter after her recent first-up romp.

Only bad luck in running will see her colours lowered.

Cascadian can run well after a luckless first-up performance.

The rising nine-year-old was blocked for a run at a crucial stage, and I suspect he would have finished a lot closer to the winner if he had had an uninterrupted passage.

A must for broader multiples and exotics.

Tiz Invincible $7.00

Tiz Invincible is coming off a forgive run.

The I Am Invincible filly was caught extremely wide in transit, and she spent her pennies before they ran for the doctor.

The 1400m is advantageous, and she is a noted second-up performer.

From the middle gate, I suspect the talented filly will get the perfect cart into the race, and if she sees daylight as they enter the final furlong, she can return to the winners’ enclosure.

Learning To Fly made a pleasing return to racing.

The Justify filly was only beaten by a bee’s preferable, and I expect her to figure in the finish again on Saturday.

She is ready for the 1400m, and the flood of early money indicates another bold performance.

She could be the real deal!

Ausbred Flirt $12.00/$3.00

Ausbred Flirt can resume a winner.

The Maurice mare burns the turf fresh, and she looks well placed carrying 54kg.

Her run in the $2,000,000 Invitation is still fresh in the memory bank, and she deserves her shot at this level.

She looks dangerous from the inside draw, and her recent barrier trial indicates she is cherry-ripe for a first-up tilt.

Over the odds!

Olentia was luckless first up.

It was a hard watch for supporters, and she arguably should have won with better fortune in the run.

She has always promised the world, and in the small field from a healthy draw, there is no reason she will deliver another atlas.

No more excuses, please!

QUADDIE

Q

$120 for 100%

Fangirl has one hoof on the till in the opening leg of the quaddie.

The super mare is flying, and she scarily continues to improve.

We have gone wide in a tough edition of Surround Stakes, while Duais, Hinged, Olentia, and Ausbred Flirt will all be prominent in the penultimate event.

Coal Crusher, Golden Mile, Kovalica, Democracy Manifest, and Whinchat will all be looking for a succulent Chinese meal in the lucky last!
