The veteran So You Think gelding strips fitter, and the step out in distance is ideal at this stage of his preparation.
From barrier four, he will sit in the box seat, and if he can produce his customary turn of foot, he will figure in the finish.
The primary concern is the possibility of a flat second-up run, especially after a long break.

Tiz Invincible was a brilliant first-up winner against the boys in The Rosebud.
The exciting I Am Invincible filly oozes class; she looks ideally placed over the 1200m.
The long Randwick home straight will suit her racing style, and she will storm home when the whips are cracking.
With even luck in transit, she is the one to beat.
This is her biggest test to date!
Kimochi will have supporters after producing a teasing run in the Silver Shadow.
The Brave Smash filly recorded sizzling late sectionals, and she broke all on-course clocks in the process.
She can sit close to the tempo from a middle gate, and if she can reproduce her first-up finish, she will be hard to toss.
I would prefer to support her case over a longer journey deeper into her preparation.

The five-year-old by Dundeel resumes on Saturday with lofty and ambitious spring goals in front of her.
She won first-up last campaign before running without much luck the rest of the preparation.
Her best form reads incredibly well for this event, and her recent barrier trials were mouth-watering.
Her record at the trip is outrageous, and she flies fresh.

Pericles will be prominent in the market after an impressive first-up victory.
The Street Boss gelding finds his pet distance and always performs well at Royal Randwick.
He looks ready to take the next step in his career on Saturday and will get his chance to break through from a favourable draw.
He will be thereabouts.
