The Bopper $2.20
The Bopper resumes after producing a stunning autumn campaign.
He went through his grades successfully, and I suspect he has some lofty spring goals.
The Nicconi gelding flies fresh, and his record at the distance is outrageous.
Three barrier trials leading into the event should have him cherry ripe for a first-up tilt, and his class should take him a long way in this grade.
Hard to toss!
Rubiquitous is too consistent to dismiss.
The Rubick gelding is racing in great spirit this campaign, and he deserves his shot at this level.
From barrier four, he will sit in the box seat, and if the favourite spends his pennies too early, he can capitalise late.
This is his acid test!

Miss Coota $4.00
Miss Coota looks poised to strike first-up from a spell.
The Spirit Of Boom filly is undefeated fresh, and she is a winner previously at the track and distance.
Her recent barrier trial was teasing, and I suspect she will be fully wound up for Saturday’s event.
All going well she has the ability to go through her grades during the spring, and I expect her to reach some dizzy heights over the next 12 months.
Big watch!
Highbar was an impressive winner on debut.
The Spieth gelding put his rivals to the sword a long way from home, and he looks well placed to continue on his winning way.
If he can find the lead from awkward barrier draw, he can lead them a merry dance on top of the speed.
An early-speed battle may be his undoing.

Grinzinger Knight $16.00/$4.60
Grinzinger Knight can run a drum at a decent price!
The I Am Invincible gelding is rock-hard fit, and every run this campaign has been full of merit.
From barrier one, he will roll forward and take up his favourite role as race leader, and if he can give them the slip-on straightening, he may prove hard to run down.
The step out in the distance is ideal at this stage of his preparation, and he has been specked at a price in early betting.
Over the odds!
Carbonetti will start favourite after a consistent campaign to date.
The Kodiac gelding looks dangerous jumping from an inside draw, and he finds his pet distance on Saturday.
The Chris Waller polish must be respected, and I suspect the flood of money will continue until the barriers open.
QUADDIE
Q
$78 for 100%
Ned’s Gully can get our quaddie off to a flying start.
The Bel Esprit gelding was an impressive winner first-up, and I suspect further natural improvement will come for the campaign.
Our best bet, The Bopper, has the feature event at his mercy, while the top six in racebook order will be prominent in the penultimate event.
It’s a field job in the lucky last!
