Canberra Raiders vs. NZ Warriors
Head-To-Head
While they may have only scraped past Wests in last weekend’s one-point thriller at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, there’s no denying the Raiders are one of the form sides of the competition.
Ricky Stuart’s chargers have won six of their past seven games and will only strengthen their cause with Jarrod Croker returning for his 300th game. Elliott Whitehead and Seb Kris also return to the starting line-up in a massive boost for the home side.
The Warriors put on a show with 24 points in the second half against the Dolphins, but all of Friday night’s emotion will be with Canberra.
Suggested Bet:
Canberra Raiders to win at $1.50
Sydney Roosters vs. Penrith Panthers
Handicap
One week ago, there’s no doubt the line would’ve been closer to double figures heading into this one, but a devastating hamstring injury to Nathan Cleary has tightened the market.
Jack Cogger will replace the Origin star at halfback, with the likes of Brian To’o, Jarome Luai and Stephen Crichton ready to step up and steer the ladder leaders.
The Roosters escaped with a one-point victory over the 15th-placed Bulldogs but lost Joseph Suaalii for Dangerous Contact. With one win from their past four, we’ve absolutely no confidence in the Roosters.
Suggested Bet:
Panthers (-5.5) at $1.90
Melbourne Storm vs. Cronulla Sharks
Totals
This promises to be one of the games of the round as both sides attempt to re-enter the winners’ stall after Round 14 losses.
The Storm’s inconsistencies continued to plague them and their top four ambitions as they went down to North Queensland by 25 points. The Sharks weren’t as disappointing during their eight-point loss to the Broncos but will need to overcome a record of one win from their past six match-ups if they are to be victorious this week.
In a battle of 5th vs 4th, expect a hard-hitting, low-scoring affair at Aami Park. We cannot wait.
Suggested Bet:
Under (-43.5) at $1.91
Campbell Graham (Rabbitohs)
Anytime Scorer
It’s hard to go past Campbell Graham at $2 in a game the Rabbitohs should walk in.
The star #4 has punched home 13 tries from his 13 games this season and sits in equal-second spot on the leaderboard behind Maiko Sivo.
After recording just one of his team’s eight tries against the Titans, expect Graham to ignite for Souths.
Suggested Bet:
C. Graham anytime try scorer at $2.00
