Best Bet - Randwick Race 5
1
Aft Cabin $1.85
Aft Cabin looks poised to strike after a little freshen-up.
He ran well against the track bias at his latest outing, and his closing sectionals were outstanding.
The wet conditions are advantageous; I am convinced he is a 1200m specialist.
From barrier six, James Mcdonald can put him in a forward position, and if he presses the go button at the right time, I expect him to be too sharp over the six furlongs.
His recent trial was first-class, and only bad luck in running will stop him from figuring in the finish.
Zou Tiger is knocking on the door!
The Zoustar colt keeps finding one better, however, he will get his chance to break through on Saturday.
He will lead them a merry dance on top of the speed, and if he is left to his own devices, he may sneak away, coming over the famous Randwick rise.
Next Best - Randwick Race 1

Kintyre $5.00
Kintyre has been ultra-impressive this campaign.
The Hallowed Crown colt will get the run of the race from barrier two, and he looks ready for the mile at this stage of his preparation.
Being closely related to Fireburn, I am sure he will enjoy the heavy conditions, and the form around the Gary Portelli two-year-old has stood up all autumn.
Best Roughie - Randwick Race 4

Audette $12/$3.80
Audette is ready to explode third-up from a spell.
Both runs this preparation have been eye-catching, and she deserves her shot at a decent race on Saturday.
She has the best-exposed form in the race, and if she can run out a strong 1400m, I expect her to figure in the finish.
Where she settles in the running line may decide her fate early.
Loch Eagle was a dominant winner at Newcastle’s last start.
The Lonhro gelding oozes class, and his ability to reel off sizzling late sectionals must be respected.
Despite the awkward barrier draw, he can be there when the whips are cracking.
Phearson is a must for all broader multiples and exotics.
The Exosphere gelding doesn’t know how to run a bad race.
QUADDIE
Q
$76 for 20%
The winning machine, Anamoe, may decide our quaddie fate in the third leg.
The weight-for-age Champion of Australasia looks like one of the better bets on the program, and I expect him to peak on autumn’s biggest stage Saturday.
We have gone wide in the other legs on a very even and competitive program.
Best of luck!
