Best Bet - Randwick Race 4

3

Sequestered $2.30

Sequestered is the best bet on a fascinating program of racing!

The Pierro filly is chasing a hat trick of wins after destroying her rivals at her latest two outings.

The 2000m looks ideal at this stage of her preparation, and a little freshen-up leading into this event will have her firing on all cylinders.

The James Mcdonald and James Cummings combination must be respected, and she has been crunched since the markets opened.

She looks tough to hold out from an inside draw.

Silvakia looks over the odds and is necessary for all multiples and broader exotics.

The Reliable Man filly savaged the line last start at Gosford, and the step out to 2000m looks advantageous.

She is rock-hard fit and should get the dream run in transit from barrier one.

Veight $5.50

Veight has been breathtaking in his two career starts.

He destroyed his rivals at Flemington second-up and came to Sydney ready to peak in a Group 1 classic!

This looks harder, however, he could be the most talented two-year-old in the country.

Barrier thirteen and the step-up in grade are among the primary concerns.

Brave Mead has brained his opposition at his latest two outings.

The Brave Smash Colt looks ultra-smart and has been smashed in early betting.

Having his fourth run in thirty-eight days is unconventional.

Cylinder will start close to odds-on after a narrow second in The Golden Slipper.

He is too consistent to leave out of the winning conversations, however, I fear they have gone back to the well one too many times this campaign.

Best Roughie - Randwick Race 10

Ojai $21/$5.50

Ojai looks over the odds.

The Exceed And Excel filly savaged the line last start at the Moonee Valley, and the 1200m looks advantageous at this stage of her preparation.

She should get the run of the race from barrier four, and with the luxury of 54kg on her back, I expect her to figure.

Her winning record is the primary concern.

Opal Ridge will start favourite after an impressive first-up win.

She is a classy customer and has enough versatility to handle any card she is dealt.

The current soft conditions give her a slight advantage on the rest of the field.

Parisal is a winner!

The Astern filly doesn’t know how to run a bad race, and with even luck from a middle gate, I expect her to be there when the whips are cracking!

QUADDIE

Q

$108 for 100%

Giga Kick can get our quaddie off to a flyer in the opening leg.

The Everest winner looks one of the better bets on the program, and I expect him to explode second-up from a spell.

A changing of the guard amongst our sprinting ranks could occur as a result!

Sharp ‘N’ Smart is our anchor in the third leg, while we have gone extremely wide in the other relevant races.

Best of luck!
