Best Bet - Rosehill Race 4

Pericles $2.70

Pericles is flying this preparation.

The Street Boss gelding put his rivals to the sword last start, and he looks well placed to continue on his winning ways.

The 2000m is advantageous, and he should get the run of the race from a middle gate.

He strips fitter, and peak performance is just around the corner.

Elliptical can bounce back after a flat second-up run.

It was a messy Australian Guineas, however, he looked plain sitting closer to the speed.

He can camp on the leader’s back from the plumb barrier draw and has performed well at the distance.

His overall career record must be respected.

Lindermann goes into all winning conversations.

He has improved out of sight this preparation, and further progression would see him figure in the finish.

Next Best - Rosehill Race 9

2

Uncommon James $3.70

Uncommon James is the most improved horse in the country.

He broke through for a well-deserved Group 1 win last start, and he can continue his dramatic rise to the top on Saturday.

He is ideally drawn in barrier four and looks well placed with 54.5kg.

The lightly-raced four-year-old is undefeated third-up from a spell and excels at the distance.

Asfoora can figure with a feather on her back.

She is ready to peak third-up from a spell and is ideally drawn in a middle gate.

Her career record is remarkable, and she has had plenty of market support in early betting.

Zoustyle is a must for all multiples and broader exotics.

He set a frenetic tempo in the Oakleigh Plate, and he still had the audacity to be there when the whips were cracking.

Best Roughie - Rosehill Race 1

7

Star Mission $17/$4.80

Star Mission can run a big race at a reasonable price.

The Star Turn mare is ultra-consistent, and she recently missed out on a hat trick of wins.

She looks well placed at this level, and the middle gate is advantageous.

She has been specked in the market, and I expect the support to continue until the barriers open.

Artie’s Aura will start favourite from the plumb inside barrier.

The Artie Schiller mare was good first up without threatening and looks well placed with 52kg.

She strips fitter, and peak performance on Saturday wouldn’t shock.

Pacific Warrior looks over the odds.

The American Pharoah gelding is undefeated second-up, and he still has plenty of natural improvement to come.

QUADDIE

Q

$80 for 50%

Anamoe will get our quaddie off to a flyer in the first leg.

The Godolphin superstar is the best horse in the country, and he continues to build a picket fence next to his name.

Uncommon James and Asfoora are our bankers in the third leg, while we have gone extremely wide in the other events looking for value.

Best of luck!
